The Parkridge Nature Reserve is a tranquil oasis for people and wildlife on the edge of Solihull Town Centre. Although a modest 5.5 acres, the reserve boasts a whole variety of popular British and migratory birds including nesting blue tits, woodpeckers, long-tailed tits and nuthatches. Remnants of the historic pleasure grounds include giant redwoods, iron wood trees, black walnut, handkerchief trees, maples and some fine mature oaks. There is a visitor centre and cafe on site, aswell as a mud kitchen and play area for all ages.
